Yufan attends his father's wedding and reunites with his old acquaintance, the chef Xiaojiang (Lin J.C.). He had just returned from a long voyage and was working at a restaurant while thinking about owning his own restaurant someday. Xiaojiang, who had been interested in him for a long time, approaches him, and the two eventually get together. However, on the day the two go on a trip, Yufan is suddenly attacked by a man with a sword at Taipei Station. Xiaojiang, who tried to protect her, was slashed in the shoulder and injured, and was taken to the hospital. The culprit ran away, but Yufan saw the man's face and testified that the man's true identity was Mingliang, who lived with him. Ming-Liang immediately turned himself in to the police, and for some reason, he started talking about the motive for the crime, saying that it was his ex-lover...

In the 1980s and 1990s, young Taiwanese directors attempted to make new, non-commercial films that depicted the land, history, and society of Taiwan. The series of movements that produced many works that were different from previous Taiwanese films was called ``Taiwanese New Cinema,'' and it still has many fans around the world. Among the most famous works are Hou Hsiao-hsien's `` A City of Sadness '' (1989) and Edward Yang's `` A Brighter Summer Day '' (1991).

``Terrorizers'' (21), directed by 1971-born director Ho Wi-ding, is an ambitious work that pays great homage to this Taiwanese new cinema and seems to be trying to update it to modern times. Needless to say, there are many problems facing society today.

What I have introduced here is just the beginning of the movie ``Terrorizers''. Also appearing are Monica (Annie Cheng), a member of Yufan's theater group who has amassed a large number of followers through live streaming on adult sites, and Kiki (Yao Yao), a high school cosplayer who is in love with Mingliang. Xiao (Ding Ning) is a woman at a massage parlor who meets Ming Liang by chance. The story moves back and forth in chronological order, slowly depicting the relationships between the six people and the truth behind the incident.
