Synopsis
Two boys who supported each other like brothers and endured rigorous training at a Peking Opera actor training school. As they grow up, they become the stars of the popular play ``Haou Betsuhime'' as Cheng Tieyi and Duan Xiaorou.Chouyi, who plays the female role, has a secret crush on Xiaorou, who plays the role of the Overlord. However, Xiaorou ends up marrying the prostitute Chuxian. Eventually, they are caught up in a turbulent era and are at the mercy of a cruel fate...
