``Betty Blue '', which was released in Japan in 1987, is the third film by director Jean-Jacques Benenix, who made his spectacular debut with `` Diva '' (1981), and is a hit with movie fans. There was also a lot of interest. As the title suggests, the visuals of the poster, in which the main character Betty floats in the blue night sky, are so beautiful that the genre is completely a love story, but the story, characters, and depiction are so vivid that some people are either traumatically drawn to it or, conversely, rejected. On the other hand, when he starts reading a novel written by Zorg, he forgets to sleep and finishes it, then desperately sells the novel to a publisher. Once you decide to do something, just go for it, no matter what you do. She also expresses her love for Zorg with an extremely pure smile. Beatrice Dalle, who plays Betty, makes her film debut in this film, and both Betty's words and actions and Beatrice's potential as an actress synchronize perfectly on an "unexpected" level, captivating viewers. Ta.

The American release title was ``Betty Blue,'' but the original French title was ``37°2 le matin,'' meaning ``37 degrees 2 minutes in the morning.'' The fact that this is the body temperature at which women are most likely to become pregnant attracted attention at the time of its release.
