Mixing blue and yellow to express a love relationship

The title ``Betty Blue'' is not the heroine's full name. The blue in the second half can be said to be the image color of the movie. In addition to the aforementioned poster, there are color magic tricks all over the place, mainly blue. The deep blue of the night sky, the blue of the popsicle Betty licks. The blue paint on the bungalow. The use of blue, which symbolizes Betty, is noticeable throughout the work, from the glass to the walls of the hospital room. Zorg, on the other hand, is yellow. The tank top in the first half and the jacket in the second half are both yellow. The Mercedes car you decide to buy is also yellow. Yellow is used symbolically until the end, such as on towels and hospital flowers.

The blue and yellow intersect in the famous scene where the two play the piano, and the yellow light from outside mixes with the blue stripes of the night. The color expresses the feeling of two people's thoughts coming together as one. The pleasant fusion of blue and yellow is occasionally interjected with red and pink to stir the viewer's heart, or the sunset at the seaside changes from pink to purple, blue, and dark blue with a gradation. Iku-sama is reminiscent of the process in which the two main characters' feelings merge. It's a work that really makes you conscious of ``color,'' and because of that, while depicting a level of crazy love that some people find difficult to empathize with, it creates a chemical reaction that somehow captivates.

Not only does Béatrice Dalle have a brilliant performance, but there is also a strange sense of fashion in her everyday actions, such as drinking coffee from a cafe au lait bowl and lighting a cigarette on a gas stove, and the fact that the characters in the play play the saxophone, piano, or ``Betty Blue'' is full of unforgettable scenes and productions, including Gabriel Yared's humming music.

Just like the main character Betty, the work itself has the magical power to captivate everyone who meets them. Like Zorg, I want to drown in love like this once. This is a rare love story that has the magical power to immerse you in such emotion.
