A unique work released on the 50th anniversary of the series
``Skyfall'' was released on the 50th anniversary of `` Dr. No '' (62), the first film in the ``007'' series, which shines brightly in the history of cinema.
Partly because of its monumental meaning, the story depicted in this work was quite different from usual. Normally, the film would open with the so-called "gun barrel sequence," in which Bond runs across the screen, turns around, and fires a single bullet, but this time there is no such thing.
Of course, the story is also full of ups and downs. The opening mission in Turkey ends in failure, leaving Bond on the brink of death, and eventually not only the 00-numbered super agent but also MI6 itself falls into a crisis. The themes that emerge are the conflict between the old and the new, generational change, and metabolism. Old age, death. Moreover, it also has a strong sense of ``returning to basics'', asking oneself about the value of a hero who has continued to run for 50 years.

It is said that the reason why British culture is so popular is because of its tradition and innovation. The more historic something is, the less bound it is to past values, and the more it flexibly evolves while skillfully inheriting certain things. That's why it is loved for so long. The same can be said for the 007 series, which boasts a 50-year tradition, and in the end, with Skyfall, we can witness the evolution of that tradition.
