Two utopias that served as a stronghold for the audience's hearts

Why do celebrities like Beyoncé and Jay-Z still fascinate us so much that we want to emulate them 30 years later? This movie is obviously interesting, but it also has a sense of luxury and spectacle, and Crown Prince Akeem has a sincerity and intelligence that people admire. Until then, African countries and people had been portrayed in movies in a negative light, as barbaric and uncivilized. However, this work had none of that. The opening dance is gorgeous and spectacular, and the ending wedding ceremony is also gorgeous and beautiful. And in the story, instead of Africans coming to America and seizing the American Hidden Figures, there is an African Hidden Figures in which Americans return to Africa and become wealthy.

I believe that the country of Zamunda in this movie is the original Wakanda from Black Panther . So why didn't the cast of "Black Panther" pay homage to the original by having a party dressed up as "The Coming to America Goes to New York"? I felt this strongly. Come to think of it, when ``Black Panther'' was released in the United States, for some reason it became popular to go see it dressed up as ``The Coming to America Goes to New York,'' so I didn't feel a strong connection between these two films. I can't stay.

Both Zamunda and Wakanda are fictional countries that are supposed to exist in Africa, but they are utopias for Americans who were forcibly taken from Africa and enslaved. It's sure to be fun to wear costumes that will make you feel like you're a citizen of such a utopian paradise. No matter how successful they are in America like Beyoncé or Jay-Z, the admiration they had as a child remains strong.

Eddie Murphy and John Landis paved a new path and created the utopia of Zamunda. Until Wakanda was created, Zamunda was the only fun country I'd want to live in. By the way, there is news that a sequel ``Coming 2 America'' is in the works, starring Eddie Murphy. Although the director is not John Landis, the film is said to be aiming for a US release in 2020. I'm also really looking forward to seeing Zamunda Hidden Figures. Zamunda Forever! !
