The movie ``Little Nights, Little Love'' can be said to be a work full of ``encounters'' in a double sense. First, it is a group drama depicting an encounter between multiple men and women. Second, the film was made into a film through a series of rare encounters and collaborations between up-and-coming creators.

A collection of short stories created from the collaboration of Kotaro Isaka and Kazuyoshi Saito

Kotaro Isaka is a best-selling author who is loved by a wide range of readers, especially mystery fans, for his unique and humanistic character creations, mysteries that vividly reveal foreshadowing, and his rich sense of humor. It is known not only by book lovers but also by many movie fans, including `` Duck and the Duck's Coin Locker '' (07), `` Fish Story '' (09), `` Golden Slumber '' (10), and `` Potato Chips '' (12). This is because more than 10 of his works have been made into films, including (all four of the films mentioned here were directed by Yoshihiro Nakamura and were also produced by Dub Co., Ltd., which will be mentioned later).

For Isaka, who has a reputation as a master of mysteries, ``Little Nights, Little Love'' is his first and only collection of romance novels, and it followed a very unique process. According to the book's afterword, it all started when singer-songwriter Kazuyoshi Saito asked him, ``I'm making an album with a love theme, so could you write the lyrics for the song ``Encounter''?''

Isaka, who is also a big fan of Saito, wrote his first short story, ``Eine Kleine,'' even though he couldn't write lyrics, thinking it could be a novel. Saito used this short story as the lyrics to create a song called `` Very Very Strong ~Eine Kleine~ '' (included on the album `` Beniban '' released in 2007). The song was released as a single, and Isaka wrote a second short story, ``Light Heavy,'' as an appendix to the first limited edition.

Isaka subsequently wrote three volumes that include new characters in addition to those appearing in these two volumes. In addition, he wrote a new version of ``Nachtmusik'' for the publication of the short story collection, and published `` Little Nights, Little Love '' in 2014, which is a collection of these six stories.
