He was 29 years old at the time of production. It can be said that he was in the best condition, both physically and mentally, and was able to survive even in terms of popularity. In addition, we have gathered together friends from their time at Peking Opera School, who became one of the most popular characters, Sammo Hung King-bo from `` Enter Debgon '' (1978) and Yun Pyo from ``Shushan Kifu: Sword of the Sky '' (83).

The struggles and successes of young Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan is a huge star who continues to renege on his repeated retirement announcements and still appears in 2-3 films (4-5 if you include dubbed animations) a year as an active action star. However, his career was by no means a smooth one.

After a rough career in which he played the role of the evil leader Han's henchman Bruce Lee in `` Enter the Dragon ,'' he made his film debut as an action actor, but was not blessed with any work and at one time was prepared to retire.

He was scouted by the film production company of heavyweight director Lo Wei as the ``Bruce Lee of the future,'' but the conditions were similar to a slave contract, with low pay and strict regulations on not only his work but also his daily life. (They couldn't even get married without the consent of the government) It was terrible.

What's more, the movie in which Lo Wei starred was a sequel to Bruce Lee's ` `Fist of Fury '' (1972), a work that could only be a losing battle, ` `Red Dragon: New Fist of Fury '' ( 76). In addition, he was fed up with Lo Wei's high-pressure and arrogant work style.

The turning point for such a troubled young Jackie was his encounter with director Yuen Woo-ping and director Woo-ping's ` `Snakey Monkey '' (1978) and `` Drunk Monkey' ' (1978).

After the release of " Enter the Dragon" (1973), characters from Bruce Lee's past works that were able to be seen during the "dragon craze" that swept Japan, as well as Yasuaki Kurata's works that were introduced as reimports. The characters ranged from tragic to passionate, and all had strong negative emotions.

As for Japan, Bruce Lee was already dead the moment he appeared on the scene, so he carried an absolute ``debt'' on his shoulders. In the face of Bruce Lee's powerful and mighty majesty, many later kung fu films strangely increased the tragic feeling of battle. In such a situation, what stands out about Jackie in ``Snakey Monkey'' and ``Drunk Monkey'' is his lightheartedness.

Use your whole body to be playful and playful. He captivated people with his ever-changing, rich, and sometimes even exaggerated acting. What's especially noteworthy is that this fun lightheartedness persists even in the field of battle.

Especially in ``Drunk Monkey Drunken Fist'', he makes use of his comical movements, and no matter how much he is beaten down by his enemies, he playfully stands up to them and defeats them in the end. If you win the battle, you'll be fine! he exclaims triumphantly. The appeal of such positivity attracted not only male fans but also female fans, and ``Snakey Monkey'' even broke the box office record in Hong Kong that had been held by Bruce Lee's work.

With this success, Jackie found a career as a comedian. Also, due to this success, the feud with Lo Wei developed into an incident involving Hong Kong's black society, but as a result, it was decided that she would be transferred to Golden Harvest, which had a double contract, and Jackie would become a star. I started walking down the street, waving my sword. ``Project A'' was produced under such circumstances.
