Recommended movies starring Tori Matsuzaka (2018)

6. “Nen of Prostitution” (18) Director: Daisuke Miura 119 minutes

2018 has seen a series of popular works, starting with ``Fukuhan'' (2018), in which Matsuzaka captivated with a mysterious performance in which she ``raised the corners of her mouth to the limit''. One of those films is ``Shounen,'' which attracted many repeat viewers for its dynamic undressing, delicate acting, and intense love scenes. This is the movie version of the stage play in which he starred in 2016.

A college student (Matsuzaka) who cannot find the meaning of life becomes a prostitute, faces the problems faced by women in the world, and discovers the meaning of his own existence. The extremely grueling bed scene, which "took an entire day," conveys the essence of Matsuzaka's acting spirit, but more than that, it beautifully depicts the beautiful transformation of a young man into an adult man. The ``intoxicatingly perfect 'emergence''' that he showed was astounding.

This film is not only sensational, but also has the aspect of a therapeutic film that clearly captures the ``emotional liberation'' that occurs when the main character becomes the recipient of women's minority sexual preferences. It is also profound that Matsuzaka's ``growth of the role'' is directly connected to the theme. Even in the field of movies, this is probably the work that made it known that there is no role that Tori Matsuzaka cannot play.

7. “Lone Wolf’s Blood” (18) Director: Kazuya Shiraishi 127 minutes

Matsuzaka's new masterpiece shows off his great success sweeping the domestic film awards. Director Shiraishi, director of ``The Birds Her Name Doesn't Know,'' has reunited with Yakusho, director of ``Japan's Longest Day,'' to create an extremely intense yakuza movie set in Hiroshima at the end of the Showa era.

In a town where the flames of gang conflict smolder, a famous detective (government office) is willing to violate the law in order to maintain balance. A young detective (Matsuzaka) from a prestigious university, who becomes his buddy, learns about the ``soul'' of a detective while being at the mercy of his unreasonable investigation methods.

The main character changes throughout the play, and the sudden transformation of Matsuzaka, who puts full throttle into play from the second half, is spectacular. With bloodshot eyes and a glaring passion that makes you feel as if madness is rising from your whole body, the story accelerates at a furious pace. It can be said that it is a work that takes a different direction from ``Nennen'' and shows off the growth of the character in a dramatic manner.

This film was a great success both at the box office and in reviews, and a sequel has already been decided. I'm sure he'll be able to do even better than this time.
