A story of the ups and downs of a man who was born at the age of 80 and ended his life at the age of 0. F. Scott Fitzgerald's far-fetched short story has been adapted into a film with high-class visuals and brilliant direction. The film was nominated in 13 categories at the 81st Academy Awards, including Best Picture, proving Fincher to be one of Hollywood's leading filmmakers.
The Academy Award-winning art, make-up, and visual effects are superb, and the rejuvenating Benjamin Button, also known as Brad Pitt, is shocking in his beauty.
Apparently, it was originally planned to be directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Cruise, but I'd like to see that as well.

Following his previous work, ``The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,'' it was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won in two categories: Best Editing and Best Original Score.
Many stars were born from this work, including Jesse Eisenberg, whose explosive machine gun talk is the highlight, as well as Andrew Garfield, Armie Hammer, and Rooney Mara. It was also the first Fincher film to be composed by Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) and Atticus Ross, who would later become regulars.
