The next work is once again a sequel to that masterpiece of horror!

Q: Jamie won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for ` `Everything Everywhere All at Once. '' Please tell us your thoughts on that movie.

Green: I think it's an amazing movie that doesn't follow the formula of previous movies and takes the risk of breaking the rules. It's great that an eccentric and wild work full of imagination has received such high praise. Including Jamie's wildness. Her performance was amazing and I was so proud of her for winning the award.

Q: I hear that your next work is a new sequel to the horror masterpiece “ The Exorcist .” Please tell us as much as you can about what kind of work it will be.

Green: Actually, I just cranked it up two weeks ago. As you pointed out, this is a new sequel to the original The Exorcist directed by William Friedkin. Ellen Burstyn, who starred in the film, will return in the same role. It also depicts a story of demonic possession that is completely different from the original version. What we have in common with `` Halloween '' is that we are reimagining a work that inspired me when I was a child in our own way. The first `` The Exorcist '' was certainly a gruesome horror story, but it was essentially a story about the bond between parents and children. I think our sequel will be a work that delves into that kind of drama.

Q: Before filming the ``Halloween'' series, the director had worked on comedies and moving films like ``Boston Strong '', but now he is considered an expert in the field of horror. I think it's being done. Aren't you worried about having such an image?

Green: There's definitely a fear of being labeled like that, but if you look at my filmography you'll understand that, so I don't worry about it. Also, by working on the ``Halloween'' trilogy, I realized that if you write a drama properly through the horror genre, it will reach more people. Some of my previous works had disappointing results at the box office, but by focusing on genres like this, I can deliver the drama I want to tell to a wider audience, so this is one thing. It is effective as a method. I'm currently at the stage where I'm delving deeper into that, and I see it as a chapter in my life as a director. Then, when we move on to the next act, I hope to be able to utilize my previous experience to deliver a new and even more wonderful piece of work.
