I also remember the goodness of border collies, sheepdogs.

My family owns a Welsh Corgi, which is also a type of sheepdog, but I was able to appreciate the Border Collie, a fellow sheepdog, once again. Come to think of it, his long black and white fur and dignified expression were the typical image of a gentle dog for me after watching ``Babe.''

Fry, a female who became Babe's mother, was very kind, loyal to her husband and herding duties, and strong. Rex, the male, was cold towards Babe and didn't like Fry looking after him, much less imitating her sheepdog. Fry kindly comforts Babe, who is treated as an enemy by Rex.

However, even Fry has a very strict attitude towards the sheep. He gave instructions in a strong tone and looked down on them as stupid people who couldn't do anything unless he gave them instructions. Not only Rex, but even the kind Fry is cold towards the sheep, demonstrating the difficult relationship between the animals on the farm. The dogs looked down on the sheep, and the sheep naturally hated the dogs.
