The cast that still shines today and Constantine

Gabriel is a half-angel, but Lucifer, played by Peter Stormare, is a true Satan, a demon. At the climax, he is summoned by Constantine, who uses his wits to escape the crisis, but at that time, he appears in an all-white suit, bare feet, and without eyebrows, giving him a human appearance but with a strange aura. The way it behaved was awkward, as if some other creature was taking on a human body, and it was eerie. If you think that Satan has descended, you might get the impression that he's just an ordinary old man, but I think it's better to have something like Shizuka's fear rather than a strange creature appearing here, and what kind of person is that? It makes me wonder what's underneath the skin. Above all, I think Stormare has such an impact that you can claim she's the devil just by shaving her eyebrows and wearing a white suit. It would be really cool to read Lucifer from John Milton's ``Paradise Lost'' with this person in mind.

Papa Midnight, the owner of a neutral nightclub where half-breeds from heaven and Inferno gather, and also a voodoo magician, is also a character to keep an eye on. In the scene where Constantine visits this nightclub, we see the suspicious customers inside through his perspective. Like the bar where the Alien gather in " Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope ," if you create a social gathering place where the inhabitants of "that world" gather, you can see what kind of world view there is in one place. It's interesting to be able to explain what kind of people there are.

Djimon Hounsou, who played Midnight, has appeared as the same character in the Marvel movies `` Guardians of the Galaxy '' and `` Captain Marvel,'' and in the same DC movie as ``Constantine,'' he also appeared in `` Aquaman. '' The voice of the fishman king in `` Shazam! He is still one of the actors who support American comic movies on the side, playing the magician who gives Shazam's power to the main character in ''. Especially “Captain Marvel” and “Shazam!” (There is a strange connection that the original title of Shazam!'s original comic was ``Captain Marvel'' when it first appeared.)

Stormare also played the Slavic god of death, Chernobog, in the TV drama American Gods , which brings to mind his role as Satan (he'd be great to play both Satan and Chernobog). Tilda Swinton plays the mentor to Benedict Cumberbatch's character Strange in Marvel's `` Doctor Strange, '' and is also part of the Avengers story. It goes without saying that Keanu Reeves and Rachel Weisz are doing well. I feel a little scared that everyone hasn't aged that much since then, but is there any hope for a sequel with the main cast still shining?

However, I recently learned that the character John Constantine has already been rebooted in the current DC movie universe. Constantine, played by Matt Ryan, who appears in the drama series, has blonde hair and a trench coat, making him look closer to the original than Keanu's version. However, the drama series seems to have been canceled for now after just one season. As long as this version of Constantine exists in the current DCEU, Keanu's version will probably never be developed again, but Constantine continues to exist in a different form. And regardless of whether there is a continuation or not, I realized once again that I still love the movie ``Constantine.''
