John Constantine, the worn-out hero

While there are rumors about a new installment of the matrix series, I remembered that there is a Keanu Reeves movie that I personally have been waiting for a sequel to. "Constantine" was released in 2005.

``Constantine'' is an occult action film based on DC Comics' ``Hellblazer.'' The Exorcist John Constantine, a heavy smoker who suffers from lung cancer and doesn't have much time left to live, struggles to perform good deeds by performing Inferno in order to prevent his already-determined going to Inferno. Get caught up in a conspiracy that shakes up three worlds. The reason why he was destined to go to Inferno is because when he was a teenager, he was troubled by the strength of his inspiration and attempted suicide.

In stark contrast to the lively heroes, or even the heroes who are powerful or wealthy, the character is a brooding and sarcastic private detective (and weakened by illness), a 14-year-old boy at the time. It was fresh and hot to me. Transportation is not by specially modified cars or magical means, but by taxis driven by assistants. He lives in a filthy room on the upper floor of a closed bowling alley, and when he gets home, he spends his time alone playing records and looking down. If you broaden your perspective a little, you can see that this is the typical hard-boiled private detective character, but at the time I had never seen a type like that before.

2005 was also the year in which Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith was released, as well as the first film in the trilogy , Batman Begins , but Constantine is definitely one of my favorites. It's a book. Director Francis Lawrence is also known as a music video filmmaker, and this film looks somewhat like a Keanu (or Tilda Swinton) PV, which will be discussed later, which may be one of the reasons I was able to watch it over and over again. do not have. The fact that director Lawrence was in charge of the PV for Avril Lavigne 's " Sk8er Boi " is a very important connection for me, as I love both films. When I learned about it later, I was surprised and convinced. In fact, I may have been under a lot of influence from this person during my junior high school days.
