The yellowish color of memories

Although it is depicted as the beginning of September, there is probably not much difference between the end of August and the beginning of September, so it is safe to call it a summer adventure. I think this movie has colors that are reminiscent of a summer's adventures and summer memories.

``Moonrise Kingdom'' is a story set on a small island in the 1960s, depicting the love escapades of a boy and a girl and the changes in the people surrounding them. Things get tough when Sam, an outcast boy scout, runs away from home with Susie, a girl he has been secretly corresponding with. The boy scouts begin a search to bring back the deserter, and the adults, including Susie's parents and the only policeman on the island, also pursue his whereabouts, but at the same time, a storm is approaching the island...

It's a story that I really like, not only about the small adventures of boys and girls, but also about boy scouts in khaki uniforms and yellow scarves, a house whose interior is projected like a giant dollhouse, letters and telephone calls carefully exchanged, and the story of a boy on an island. It's hard to think of a reason why I like it because there are so many elements I can list, such as a police car with only a stand, but if I had to describe it in one word, I like the yellowish color. As if the colors of Sam and the Boy Scouts he belongs to have spread to those around him, Susie's pink dress, the monotone uniform of Bruce Willis' dull police officer, and even the blue sky seem to have a yellowish tinge (the most The yellow one is Sam's foster parent's room). The yellowish atmosphere that surrounds the entire story makes the story feel like someone's memories.
