9/11 terrorist attacks, heavy rains and hardships continue for the first time in 15 years

``Originally, it was scheduled to be filmed with Mel Gibson in the lead role, but just 11 weeks before filming began, the September 11 terrorist attacks occurred in 2001.Then, due to the sharp drop in the value of the US dollar, the production budget was reduced. The production had increased by 25%, and the decision was made to cancel it.Meanwhile, I started working on the anime `` Happy Feet '' (2006), which I had been preparing at the same time, and it ended up taking 4 years.

When they finally started working on ``Mad Max,'' it became difficult to cast Mel Gibson because of his age, so they had to start over from the casting. Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron were finally chosen around 2009. Tom was born around the time the first Mad Max movie was being filmed, so it felt like we were separated by a lifetime.

We prepared to begin filming in a desert area called Broken Hill in the Australian outback. That was 2011. But by the time we had built a few hundred vehicles and rehearsed the stunts, we were hit by a heavy rainstorm. This is the first rain in Broken Hill in 15 years. Flowers are in full bloom across the flat, red-soil desert, and pelicans and frogs have flocked to the vast salt lake. The film crew was temporarily disbanded as they felt that this would not create the world of Mad Max. We had to wait 18 months until the filming locations dried up.

However, the earth never dries back to normal. In the end, all staff, cast, 200 vehicles, props, and props were removed and moved from the east coast of Australia to the west coast. From there, we moved to Namibia on the African continent, and filming finally began in 2012.
