A well-thought-out storyline that echoes Gilliam's state of mind

The ``Fisher Time Bandits'' in the title is one of the characters from the ``Holy Grail Legend,'' which is widely passed down in Europe. This king, who has suffered an irreparable wound, heals his pain with the power of the Holy Grail, which he finds with the help of a knight. The storyline coincides perfectly with the fates of a mentally ill homeless man and a radio DJ who tries to find the Holy Grail on his behalf. What's more, interestingly, it also matches Gilliam's feelings at the time.

Needless to say, Gilliam has often caused big problems with his filmmaking. Although it was the result of fighting desperately in his own way, he must have always wondered, ``Why did this happen?'' Moreover, he must have been hurt himself, and he must have had a strong desire to heal it.
