King Shark/Weasel/Savant/Sinker

King Shark, voiced by movie legend Sylvester Stallone, makes a particularly strong impact in The Suicide Squad. Although he is a relatively young villain who first appeared in comics in 1994, his origin is said to be the son of Shark God, the ``king of sharks,'' and it is also said that he was born through genetic experiments.

Gunn, who has drawn adorable animal characters in films such as the Guardians of the Galaxy series and Scooby-Doo series (screenplay), took a similar approach to visualizing King Shark. Although it is set as a bipedal, ferocious, man-eating shark, it is full of humanity (despite being a shark), humorous, and somewhat sad. Stallone's line delivery is also exquisite. Steve Agee, a close friend of Gunn, was in charge of motion capture. He also plays the role of John Economos, one of Amanda Waller's subordinates (the one who blurts out, ``A monster has appeared'' in the trailer).

On the other hand, it is Weasel, a weasel, that Gunn has rejected from the ``uncute animal'' route. It's supposed to be similar to Rocket from Guardians of the Galaxy of the Galaxy, but like King Shark, it's human-sized, walks on two legs, has googly eyes and a long tongue, and is a far cry from Rocket. Although he does not know whether he will be able to communicate with those around him, he accepts orders and participates in the mission.

When Weasel first appeared in the comics in 1985, he was a teacher wearing a weasel costume. Later, he reappeared with a more beast-like appearance, but Gunn changed his setting to be ``the weasel himself''. The person in charge of the motion capture was director Sean Gunn, who is Gunn's younger brother and plays the role of Rocket on the set of Guardians of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He will also appear as Calendar Man, a villain from Batman magazine.

Let's also pay attention to supporting players who bring depth to the work. Michael Rooker, a regular in Gunn's works, has a ``different'' presence from the beginning as Savant. In the comics, Savant is a man who calls himself the vigilante of Gotham City, but is warned by Batman and uses his PC skills to become a blackmailer, but Gunn changes this delicious setting. I dared to give Rooker the role of ``combat expert,'' but with his silky long hair, fighting ability, and the scenes where Rooker's charm is put to use, it's sure to be a real collaboration between Gunn and Rooker. Take a look at his success in a comic book movie since his role as Yondu in ``Guardians of the Galaxy.''

Thinker, a genius scientist involved in the Suicide Squad's missions, also has a strong personality. Sinker, who appeared in comics in 1943 and became a member of the villain team "Injustice Society," is an "evil genius" who holds the key to the story of this work. In this work, he appears as a person who holds the key to the story. He will be played by Peter Capaldi, known for his role as the 12th Doctor in Doctor Who and the Paddington series. He said he studied hard to prepare by reading comics.
