life won't wait

In "I One Fine Morning," good and bad events unfold like a duet. A premonition of the best life and the worst death. The German silent film "Nina Petrovna" (29), which is quoted in this film, is also a masterpiece that depicts the best and worst events. "Nina Petrovna" begins with a cute lie by the main character Nina and ends with a tragic lie, and depicts with merciless brushstrokes the innocence of lovers who play around in an unforgivable love and their breakup. The main character, the major, keeps throwing roses one by one at the body of the sleeping Nina. However, the major does not know that she has already attempted suicide by poison... It is a truly heartbreaking film.

“One Fine Morning.”

Mia Hansen-Love has stated that the reason this film references "Nina Petrovna" is because of the silence of silent films, their spiritual elements. There is a beautiful scene in which Sandra, who works as a translator, "translates" the silent images to herself. This scene rhymes with Sandra's nightmare about the seal. The fear of a tragedy like "Nina Petrovna" torments her. Sandra may be afraid that life will not wait for her. I suddenly realize that the original title of this film, "One Fine Morning," can be interpreted as both an end and a beginning.

From this summer to the next summer. From one morning to the next. "I One Fine Morning" is a portrait of Sandra, who lives her life in uncertainty. But death still comes, and One Fine Morning. Life doesn't wait for anyone. This film offers the next morning to those who can no longer even bluff the words "I'm not afraid of life!" If you can find the courage to accept that the cityscape seen from the bus window makes you laugh or feel sad, that light is not wrong.
