How a new director's debut film turns into a Hollywood blockbuster

As you know, this film began with a script written by Quentin Tarantino when he was still unknown. This script, submitted to the Writers Guild of America in 1989, was about to become his directorial debut. The producer was his old friend Rand Vossler, who was also aiming to enter the film industry. They work hard to raise funds, but of course, two unknown people cannot be accepted easily in Hollywood. In the meantime, Tarantino received word that he would be able to make his directorial debut with `` Reservoir Dogs '' (1992), which was being worked on by fellow up-and-coming producer Lawrence Bender, and he devoted himself to that project.
