Have you become closer to each other? Changes seen in the two major series

My impression is that throughout their history, both series have successfully differentiated themselves as being the same spy genre. If ``007'' is filled with the aesthetics of individualism and grandstanding, ``Mission'' has the real pleasure of team play. Of course, there are also strong differences in thinking, organization, and culture between Britain and the United States.

However, in recent years, especially in the last two or three games, there are times when it feels like both series are somehow close to each other, throwing the ball at each other and influencing each other. Even though they portray completely different missions, I suddenly get the impression that both films are looking in the same direction and sharing the same challenges.

In fact, we've begun to find a number of interesting similarities in the stories. First, since `` Casino Royale '' (2006), Bond movies have subtly featured the existence of a secret society that spans the world, but will `` Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation '' (15) respond to this? A secret organization called the "Syndicate" appears.

What they also have in common is that they both use great actors (Ralph Fiennes, Alec Baldwin) and have them play important roles that influence the series as a whole. Similarly, special institutions such as MI6, super agents with 00 numbers, and the IMF are at risk for their survival.

Why did this situation occur? Am I the only one who feels that the trigger for this was ``Skyfall''?

This work carefully weaves together the history and tradition of the 007 series, as well as the world situation, both vertically and horizontally, and, coupled with director Sam Mendes's "writerly style," it will continue to make spy films in the modern era. The result was a masterpiece filled with determination and spirit. The audience was enthusiastic about this serious battle, and the film not only renewed the tradition of the 007 series, but also brought the light of a new era to the spy movie genre itself.

There is no way that Tom Cruise, who has made such a breakthrough and is currently working in the same spy movie, will remain silent. It was officially announced in the summer of 2013 that Christopher McQuarrie would be the centerpiece of the latest installment of the series. With Oscar-winning screenwriter McCurry pouring all his energy into building the world, the M:I series has made even greater strides than ever before with Rogue Nation. Although it is pure entertainment, it is a masterpiece that feels as high as ``Skyfall''.

What is noteworthy is that, like ``Skyfall,'' ``Rogue Nation'' also did not run away from the huge wall of ``era''. What is the significance of our existence in this era of rapid change? By challenging the proposition of a spy movie that everyone had been aware of but had not been able to depict until now, these two films may have been able to grasp a new relationship between "real" and "fiction." do not have.
