Psycho-suspense film highly praised by Kubrick

There is a genre commonly called ``psycho suspense'' that depicts the deviant acts of human beings. However, there are rare movies where not only the characters, but the work itself feels insane. This work, ``The Vanishing'', shows an extremely strong degree of this.

This film was highly praised by director Stanley Kubrick as ``the scariest movie of all the movies I've ever seen,'' and was directed by George Schluitzer himself, starring Jeff Bridges, Kiefer, etc. Although the work attracted worldwide attention, including being remade in Hollywood starring Sutherland and Sandra Bullock, it was never released theatrically in Japan, and as of this writing, sales of the software have ended. This made it one of the most difficult works to appreciate. Now, after more than 30 years, it will finally be released in Japanese theaters. The fact that this work can now be seen on screen is a blessing for movie fans.
