Thoroughly entertaining! "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom"

Before I talk about how bad taste ``The Legend of the Demon Palace'' is, I would like to make everyone aware of the appeal of the work itself.

The Indiana Jones series begins with " Raiders of the Lost Ark " (1981). Originally, it was a project proposed by George Lucas called ``The Adventures of a New Yorker like 007 James Bond.'' It was Spielberg who changed it into the wild archaeologist we know today. Indy's appearance in a white tuxedo at the opening of "Legend of the Demon Palace" is a recreation of his original image.

007's influence may also be the reason why there are action scenes in the opening scenes throughout the series. However, in the case of ``Legend of the Demon Palace,'' the action is linked endlessly from one action to the next, and flows seamlessly into the main story.

The way the action is arranged and structured is a masterpiece that can be said to be a masterpiece to Spielberg's credit. Also, you could even say that he is possessed by a god when it comes to editing.

The editor in charge has trained on blaxploitation films such as ``War of the Beasts'' (1972) and ``Black Belt Dragon'' (1974), and has worked on most of Spielberg's and Amblin's works since ``Close Encounters of the Close Encounters of the Third Kind '' (1977). Michael Kahn.

The setting explanation scene, which would normally be a boring scene, is sublimated into a fun scene by skillfully inserting a meal scene. Also, the daring suspense scene where Indy fights on top of a stone crusher and goes on and on about the moment when he says, ``I'm about to be killed!'' is absolutely wonderful.

Casting exquisite actors is also a choice typical of Spielberg, a cinephile. The gang boss who confronts Indy in the opening scene is Roy Chao, who played the high priest in `` Enter the Dragon '' (1973). The antagonist, the evil priest, is played by Amrish Puri, a well-known actor in the Indian film industry.

Excellent direction and composition. Skillful editing. Great choice of actors, etc. `` Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom '' was made with the best conditions in place, completely eliminating any Arrival , and focusing solely on entertainment.
