Fandango on Saturday night

In the movie `` Rocketman '' (1919), which depicts Elton John's life, this musical scene depicts his rapid growth from a boy playing the piano in a bar to a young man in one long shot. The song being sung here is " Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)." This song was included in Elton John's album ` `Twilight '' released in 1973.

"Rocketman" trailer

"Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)" has the Japanese title "Saturday Night is My Ikigai", but it was actually released in 1986 with a different Japanese title, "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fandango)". A single record with the title has been released. This is the "movie commemorative edition" of the movie "Fandango" (1985), which was released in Japan on March 8th of the same year, and includes the single record of Carole King's " It's Too Late " and Blind Faith's " It was one of the rare soundtrack releases released in three different formats: a mini-LP that included songs such as " My Way Home " and Pat Metheny & Lyle Mays' "It's For You."

Additionally, the original score used in the film ``Fandango'' was not released as an official sound source for a long time. It was an omnibus collection of songs from works starring Kevin Costner, who starred in this movie, and it only contained one song. The music was composed by Alan Silvestri, who would go on to work on `` Back to the Future '' (1985). The score for ``Fandango,'' which he composed, was first released on CD in 2013 (currently difficult to obtain).
