Reptile in a pressurized suit

Admiral Piett, played by Kenneth Corrie, is displeased with the fact that Vader has invited rogue bounty hunters onto the bridge of his ship and then entrusted them with their mission, and he complains to his subordinates. At that moment, he suddenly looked up from the pit and saw Bossk, a reptilian and hunter-like Trandoshan, standing on the deck. The sight of him wearing a yellow Flight suit, his scale-covered limbs sticking out , and eerily growling sounds is very impressive. It's funny how he speaks so fluently when he appears). Alan Harris, who played the role, passed away in January of this year, but he was the one who wore the prototype costume (still completely white) in the Boba Fett screen test, making him one of the many Boba Fett actors. He is also known for being the first to wear that armor.

Bossk is my favorite character after Boba Fett among the bounty hunters listed here, and his appearance is a combination of several characters from the Mos Eisley spaceport tavern in A New Hope. .

First of all, it has a large lizard-shaped head, but the exact same headgear is also used by customers of the Thorin race. Bossk has red eyes and dark eyes, but Sorin has black eyes and his scaly skin doesn't have the luster that Bossk has. It's just a minor improvement or repaint, but while the form is exactly the same, it has a very different impression.

There is also a scene in which Luke Skywalker, accompanied by Obi-Wan Kenobi, enters a bar and looks around in amazement at the crowded bar, and in one corner he sees a man wearing the same yellow Flight suit as Bossk. A person can be seen. Unlike Bossk, the sleeves of his suit extend to his wrists, and he wears a full-face helmet over his face. This character currently has no name (unusual in SW, where every mob character is given a name and background), and goes by nicknames such as "Yellow Spacer" and "Cantina Dude."

Even more interestingly, a person appears wearing a different color of this Flight suit. When Obi-Wan searches for a pilot, he talks to a man named Boshek before he finally talks to Chewbacca. The sideburns are cool, giving a sense of the times, and the dark blue Flight suit, which is almost black, is the same as Bossk (and the yellow spacer).

This Flight suit is much better made than the costumes worn by other patrons at the bar, but both costumes were originally reused costumes from science fiction works such as Doctor Who in the 1960s. Going back even further, it appears that these costumes were not costumes made for video productions, but pressurized suits made for the Royal Air Force. You can't miss the fact that the name BoShek is similar to Bossk. Maybe he was named Bossk because he used the same type of costume as Bosek, or maybe Bosek was an anonymous mob like Yellow Spacer, but he was named after Bossk's appearance, either way, Bossk is a tavern. It can be said that it is made up of a combination of customers. I never thought that such an interesting character could be created by reusing and combining the costumes of completely different characters.
