``Spider-Man 2'' I want to remember before ``No Way Home''

The trailer for the latest Spider-Man movie, ``Spider-Man: No Way Home,'' finally drops the long-awaited crossover element, causing fans to have expectations, excitement, and speculation. Since Alfred Molina has shown his face as Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2, the second film in Sam Raimi's trilogy, why is he appearing in the same role in a different series? It's no wonder you think so.

This isn't the first time a cast member from the 2000s Raimi trilogy has appeared in the same role in the MCU Spider-Man. The previous film, Far From Home , also featured J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, photographer Peter Parker's employer. For this reason, it is thought that the next Alfred Molina will also be the same Doctor Octopus, regardless of the connection.

Spider-Man 2 remains one of my favorite Spider-Man movies. Peter Parker, who debuted as Spider-Man in the previous film and became busy helping people and fighting crime, shows the conflict between his hero activities and his own life, as well as his battle with his archenemy Doctor Octopus. draw The artwork was drawn by comic artist Alex Ross, and the opening title, which plays a digest of the previous work, is also cool.

This is a characteristic that can be said of Raimi's version of Spider-Man as a whole, but the muted colors and atmosphere that does not specify a specific era create a single worldview. Perhaps one of the reasons why this series remains timeless is that it has an atmosphere that seems to date back to an earlier era than the year it was produced, so even if you watch it now, it doesn't feel all that old.

This may have been the intended sense of the times, as the characters never use mobile phones, which were at the height of their popularity at the time. Perhaps the aim was to create a sense of the times typical of Spider-Man. The fact that Spider-Man's flashy costume stands out among the muted colors feels calculated.
