Knowledgeable orangutans are knowledgeable people

Orangutans, represented by Cornelius and Geela's boss Dr. Zaias, are the brains of ape society. In the first game, it seems that the leadership was also dominated by orangutans. The three judges who pose as the three monkeys, who see no evil and hear no evil, are also impressive. Dr. Zaias knows the secret of Planet of the Apes, that humans were once the rulers, and he hid it for fear of undermining the legitimacy of ape rule. It's safe to call him a villain, but there's something about him that makes him hard to hate. I've always liked orangutans, so Zaias is also my personal favorite character. In the second film, `` Planet of the Apes '', more threats appear, so the level of villainy is slightly lowered and the atmosphere becomes more tired. His costume is orange, his skin is bright, and his body hair is golden.

In the original series, Dr. Zaius and other characters seem to be rather bossy or cunning (the only time a good character appears is in the fifth film, `` The Last Planet of the Apes ''), but in the reboot work Orangutans are portrayed as wise and kind companions. Maurice the orangutan is the main character Caesar's reliable brain, but just looking at his expression makes me nervous. His gentle gaze is wonderful.

The name Maurice is taken from Maurice Evans, who played the aforementioned Dr. Zaius. Although the characters are connected to the same orangutan, it also stirs the imagination of the future, where an orangutan like Dr. Zaias may eventually appear as a descendant of the kind Maurice.

In Tim Burton's unique film Planet of the Apes , the orangutan was Senator Nedo, played by Glenn Shaddix in heavy special make-up. He was portrayed as a semi-corrupt politician, different from the cunning in the original series and the kindness in the reboot trilogy.
