A link with “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” that makes you feel unparalleled love

I would like to talk about the "love" between Sarah and the T-800, as mentioned in the previous section, but I will leave that out for the viewing audience. However, I would like to add that the different kinds of love experienced by the two, and the drama of their clash, form the emotional "core" of the entire film.

The theme of "heart" is firmly depicted as a continuation from " Terminator 2: Judgment Day ", and therefore "Terminator: Dark Fate" is a movie that is firmly grounded as a sequel. For example, the depiction that "human beings choose emotion over rationality" embodied by John in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" is inherited by Danny, who knows that he is the one who needs to be protected, but puts his body on the line for Grace and Sarah.

In addition, this film is packed with many "links" that will make fans smile. At the beginning, the scene where the suddenly attacking REV-9 is crushed by a press machine is reminiscent of the end of " The Terminator ", and in the obligatory car chase, a bulldozer appears instead of the tanker truck. The scene where Grace asks Danny to "take over the driving" and tries to stop the REV-9 chasing from behind is also featured in "The Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day".

“Terminator 2: Judgment Day” preview

The "liquid metal" setting of REV-9 is exactly the same as the evolved version of the T-1000 from "Terminator 2: Judgment Day Terminator 2: Judgment Day" is swaying.

The way the armory scene is depicted seems to recreate the scene in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" where the T-800 grins, and Danny, who loads bullets for his comrades during the battle, plays the same role as John in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day". As in the previous two films, there is a scene where the T-800's arm is torn off, and the final battle takes place in a factory. In addition, the line "There is no fate" is spoken in an important scene.

In addition, a song played in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" is casually used in one scene, and the passage of time is shown in a scene where the T-800 is playing with a dog, going against the setting that "dogs can tell The Terminator apart." From obvious links to "The Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," the film is endless, from the more obvious to the less obvious.

In terms of improvements, pay attention to the scene of the teleport from the future. The principle and depiction are basically the same, but this time, the effect of "the surrounding air instantly freezing before the appearance" has been added. This has enhanced the sci-fi feel.

The battle scenes in the future have also become more spectacular, with scenes that excite the viewer, such as "The Terminator emerging from the water," "fighter planes carrying the human resistance," "homing bombs," and "new Alien-like The Terminator." Naturally, all of these are linked to "The Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," so the film stays on track. Not only is Cameron's presence reassuring, but it is clear that each and every detail has been carefully drawn to avoid making things absurd.
