IMAX laser screening that highlights Sarah's brave figure

I mentioned the visual impact earlier, but I think the sense of realism was also largely due to the IMAX Laser installed at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku. What is this IMAX Laser? To put it simply, it is something that "4K laser projection makes the image clearer" and "12ch surround system makes the sound more three-dimensional." It feels sharper and more colorful than conventional IMAX screenings.

A feature of the The Terminator series is that the enemy attacks regardless of day or night. Once The Terminator locks on to its target, it will not stop and will pursue it wherever it goes, which is what makes it so terrifying. This setting works extremely well with IMAX Laser. Daytime scenes are rendered more vividly and nighttime scenes are rendered brighter, making them much easier to see. It's a big attraction that you can enjoy scenes such as the REV-9 approaching in the darkness of night without the image being distorted.

In addition, the setting for the first half of the film has been moved to Mexico, so there are more shots of vast natural scenery. At the beginning, there is a close-up shot of the waves, and there is more IMAX-worthy footage than ever before.

Furthermore, director Tim Miller's acrobatic action itself was made with a huge screen in mind, so the default is that it's best seen in IMAX, but having experienced IMAX Laser, it's nice to be able to follow even the finer details with the naked eye.

In "Terminator: Dark Fate," the soundtrack from "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" is used lavishly from the beginning, and the experience of being "surrounded by sound images" unique to IMAX laser is enough to make fans of the series shiver. Although it is not about the T-1000 and REV-9 mentioned earlier, it can be said to be a "superior compatible" of IMAX.

If it's a legitimate sequel to " Terminator 2: Judgment Day ," you'll want to enjoy it in a special environment. The incredible expressive power of IMAX Laser, which exceeds IMAX, is perfect for taking on the "sequel" after 28 years.

...But I've written this much, but the main character of this film is none other than Sarah Connor. To be honest, I want you to enjoy Linda Hamilton, who has a sharp gaze and overwhelming aura that has not faded even at the age of 63, a beauty that makes those around her bow down, and an unrivaled "strength" on as large a screen as possible.

The great actress Hamilton uses every wrinkle as a "prop" to show the time Sarah spent fighting. Please enjoy her brave figure with the best images and sound.
