Craftsmanship that connects defective sensitivity and aliens
A movie about an alien who likes Ferraris, hard rock, and hot bitches, playing Miami Vice. Bob Hunt wrote the script for this delinquent tale.
However, this "Bob Hunt" is only listed on a Japanese movie site as the screenwriter for "The Hidden" (he also designed the characters for " The Hidden 2 ").
However, a look at an American movie database site will reveal the mystery: Bob Hunt, who goes by pseudonyms such as "Jim Kouf" and "James Kouf," is a man known as a "craftsman" who writes screenplays for a variety of genres, from horror to erotic comedies, detective stories, and crime movies.
"The Hidden 2" trailer
In filmmaking, the people known as "craftsmen" are not (or do not seem to be) particular about the theme, but produce results that are above the minimum in any genre. They do not produce masterpieces that will win an Academy Award, but instead leave the audience with memories of a good time. These are the kind of people who do this.
He took the sci-fi novel " 2 Billion Needles, " which was made more than 30 years ago, and fused it with the then-popular "Miami Vice," and threw in some bitches, cars, and rock and roll. Only a "craftsman" who has no particular preferences, can work in any genre, and can make a soft landing no matter how difficult the task, could pull off such a feat.
Contrary to its frivolous appearance, "The Hidden" is a work that allows you to enjoy the outstanding "skill" of a craftsman.
