“IChhichhore” synopsis

The son of a test taker was taken to the hospital?! Seven former friends, now parents, gathered there. As we've gotten older, we've gained weight and our looks have changed a lot, but the friendship we had from those days when we cried, laughed, and did stupid things during our school days remains the same. In order to cheer up his best friend Ani's son who failed his entrance exam, the bad friends talk about their struggles during their "loser days" in the hospital room. In the 1990s, Ani entered Bombay Institute of Technology, one of the top schools in India. However, he was assigned to Dormitory 4, which was in disrepair. There are friendly seniors and fun friends, but in competitions between dorms, they always come in last place and are called "losers" by other dorms. However, this year, we will do whatever it takes to get rid of the Notorious! To do that, we needed to have athletes who can win in a variety of games, including basketball, soccer, weightlifting, kabaddi, chess, and board The Game. Dormitory No. 4 may not have the strength, but they use their wisdom, motivation, and team strength to win by any means necessary, but their enemies do not remain silent either. Will they be able to achieve victory, and what will they get in the end?

There are many masterpieces that depict the lives of university students.

The sense of freedom that young people who are just about to enter the workforce continue to take off as if it were their last reprieve, and the anxiety that looms behind the scenes. The ephemeral sparkle of fireworks is beautifully depicted, both helplessly and inevitably.

Even in India, a film powerhouse, such college films exist. India is a society with a fierce academic standard, and there is a deep-rooted awareness of the caste system, as well as depicting a decisive turning point in one's life, which is probably why it creates such a great drama. ``I'm sure it'll be fine'' (2009), which was a big hit in Japan, is still fresh in my memory. A new work has been added to this collection of masterpieces of college student films.

``IChhichhore'' as a college movie

Annie and Maya met at the elite university of engineering and got married after falling in love, but now they live apart and it is awkward to even greet each other. The time has come for their two sons, Raghav, to take their entrance exams. Her dream school is the same engineering college where her parents studied. However, something unexpected happens and Raghav becomes unconscious and in a critical condition.

Feeling responsible, Ani starts talking to Raghav about her student days when she met Maya, with a feeling similar to a prayer, without knowing if it will reach him or not.

1992. Ani, a new student, was assigned a dilapidated dormitory No. 4. There is no air conditioning, the cooks in the dormitory cafeteria are terrible at cooking, and the students who have moved into the dormitory are all applying to transfer to other dormitories. However, there were only friendly seniors living in Dormitory 4. Derek is a heavy smoker. Sexa is constantly distracted by sex. A foul mouth is the worst acid in school. Hebereke is a ronin who is always drunk. Mommy is a new student like Annie and a mother's boy.

Dormitory No. 4 is a comfortable and relaxed dormitory with no strict hierarchy, but the students who live there are called "losers" within the school. This is because they continue to come in last place every year in the multi-sport competition (basketball, soccer, weightlifting, kavati, chess, carrom) held once a year between the dorms. However, when Ani, who is good at sports, moves into the dormitory, it becomes a Being There to shed the Notorious of being a "loser".

As Raghav lies unconscious on his hospital bed, Ani's former friends from Dormitory 4 gather around her. That's the synopsis of ``IChhichhore''.

The movie focuses on Annie's student days, but also synchronizes her current situation and feelings. This work, which depicts the present and the past at the same time, is full of depictions that can only be expressed through images, making it a truly ``cinema-like movie.''

“IChhichhore” preview

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, who brought tears to the eyes of many viewers with ` `Dangal '' (2016), he has once again produced a tear-jerking film that will make you feel dehydrated and require a sports drink.

The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the heroine's love interest in ` `PK '' (14), and Shraddha Kapoor, who starred opposite Bahubali'' Prabhas in the hyper-mega blockbuster `` Saaho '' (19). It is also a highlight to see the two portraying their innocent love story from their student days.
