Watergate scandal that forced Nixon to resign as president

In the United States, there are excellent teaching materials for students who want to become reporters in the newspaper, magazine, and broadcasting industries to learn the spirit of journalism. ``All the President's Men'' (1976) depicts America's biggest political scandal, ``Watergate''. This film is imprinted with the passion of the young The Journalist who never backed down from the powerful at the time, even leading to the downfall of President Nixon. I first watched ``All the President's Men'' when I was a teenager, and I was thrilled by the thrilling plot, which felt like a mystery novel.

The incident happened on June 17, 1972. Five men who illegally entered the Democratic National Committee headquarters in the Watergate Building in Washington are apprehended by security guards. At first it was thought that he was just a thief, but it was discovered that he was trying to set up a wiretapping device. Moreover, the criminal group included members extremely close to the government, including a former CIA employee and the head of security for President Nixon's re-election committee.

"All the President's Men" preview

Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein began their investigation by asking, ``Is this incident deeply connected to the White House?'' Undeterred by the government's obvious interference, the two men reveal that central authorities close to the president are involved in the wiretapping incident, forcing Nixon to resign as president. Woodward and Bernstein eventually published `` 300 Days of Chasing Nixon , '' a chronicle of their tireless investigation. He went on to win many awards, including the Pulitzer Prize.

Some Hollywood stars were impressed by the couple's courageous journalistic spirit. It's Robert Redford.
