Eastwood's Cold War movie

Clint Eastwood continues to be an active actor and director. He is a masterpiece that needs no introduction, but he was unknown at first. Although he stayed at Universal for about a year and a half, he only had bit roles in low-budget films such as `` The Merman Strikes Back '' (1955) and ``Tarantula Attack '' (1955). However, Eastwood landed his first lead role in the Western drama `` Rawhide ,'' which aired from 1959 to 1965, and this was a turning point for Eastwood as an actor.

After that, he starred in three Western films in Italy, including `` A Fistful of Dollars '' (1964), and became a star of macaroni westerns at a time when westerns were in decline. Eastwood's ``Anonymous Man'' is a character that continues to be loved by movie fans to this day, and his words can be said to be synonymous with Eastwood.

His success is not limited to acting. He started his own company and directed seven movies up until ``Firefox'' (1982). After success with `` Play Misty for Me '' (1971), `` Stranger in the Wilderness '' (1973), and `` Jack Reacher '' (1976), he chose ``Firefox'' as his eighth directorial work. This movie is based on the novel of the same name by Craig Thomas (Japanese title: ` `Firefox ''), and tells the story of a daring operation to steal a cutting-edge Soviet fighter jet. In this work, he is not only the director and star, but also the producer for the first time, and although the story is a little rough, it is fast-paced and suspenseful.

"Firefox" preview

The staff was also top notch. The special effects team led by John Dykstra, who won an Academy Award for `` Star Wars '' (1977), was in charge of the aerial battle that is the climax of the second half of the movie, creating a powerful scene. It's a breathless action scene that really makes you feel like the fighter plane is the main character. Bruce Sirtis is the cinematographer. He is a cameraman with whom Eastwood has known for a long time, and was nominated for an Academy Award for his work in `` Lenny Bruce '' (1974). Most noteworthy is the music of Maurice Jarre. He is also a top-notch composer, having composed music for many Academy Award-winning masterpieces, including `` Lawrence of Arabia '' (1962) and `` Doctor Zhivago '' (1965). There are probably not many productions that are blessed with the best actors and the best staff.
