Lines with a “mysterious sound” that come to light when examined

Gilliam said that while he made some minor adjustments to make the ``face change when you step into the mirror'' setting, he didn't change much of the dialogue in the script from the beginning. If you examine the work again with this in mind, you will find many words in this work that have mysterious meanings.

For example, in the movie, Christopher Plummer, who plays Parnassus, says, ``In this world, there are other people besides us who are spinning stories. Big stories, romances, stories of unexpected deaths...whatever it is, we need to keep telling it.'' "That's what keeps this world going. No one can stop the story."

On the other hand, scenes in which Johnny Depp appears include a depiction that can be called a memorial to the dead, saying, ``Even though they die, they are immortal. They have nothing to fear anymore. They have eternal youth in their hands.'' The line “Because I put it in there” pops out.

In another part, Heath Ledger himself ad-libs after witnessing the collapsed stage, saying, ``How about we make do with insurance?'' There is also a scene where he whispers, ``I've lost my name, I've lost my face...the mystery only deepens.'' Even though both of these events were written in the script from the beginning, from our perspective, we can't help but be amazed at the coincidence.

Also, even in scenes that seemed to be completely dysfunctional due to Heath's death, a suitable solution would naturally come to him, and as a result of implementing that solution, the end result was often much better than the original. Gilliam says that when he was exposed to these paranormal events, he felt as if Ledger's spirit was there, co-directing and guiding the film.

Gilliam isn't alone. All of the cast and staff, including the three substitutes who participated in this production, must have continued to work hard with similar feelings. Therefore, in the end credits of this film, the following notation is displayed first and foremost, rather than the director's name, actor's name, or even producer's name.

"A Film from Heath Ledger & Friends"

Is there any other work that took such an unexpected path to completion? Heath Ledger's final appearance, which captivated audiences with his inhuman charisma, was etched deeply and forever into the film.
