A “story of hardship” based on “historical facts”
The time is April 1970. Apollo 13 takes off with the aim of becoming the third mission in human history to land on the moon, but a serious accident occurs in space, and the mission finds itself in an extremely difficult situation, making it impossible to return to Earth. However, the three crew members, including Captain Jim Lovell, and the staff at the Houston control center do not give up and gather all their strength to face each problem one by one.
The movie ``Apollo 13'' (1995) is a great ``story of hardship'' based on ``historical facts.'' At the same time, it can also be called a glorious story of indomitability, in that humans used their own strength to control and overcome the challenges that arose on the frontier of outer space.

There is a reason why I emphasized the "historical" aspect here. According to director Ron Howard, when he once held a test screening of this movie without informing them of the title or content, the audience was generally satisfied, but there was one person who gave a harsh review. Looking at the questionnaire, they criticize the ending as a Hollywood opportunism, saying, ``There's no way they (the crew) will survive!'' In other words, this person had no idea that this work was based on historical fact.
As time passes, the number of people who do not know the historical facts increases. That's exactly why, now that 28 years have passed since the creation of this film, many people are encountering it completely blank via video distribution services. At this very moment, how will people who come into contact with this work for the first time perceive the events that took place more than half a century ago? What do you feel and what do you learn from this work?
