The opening production of “The Wild Bunch” incorporated as the essence

As with many films, behind the scenes of this project was a designer who was entrusted with a mission by director Ritchie. The project was handled by a creative team called Stuart Hilton and Ian Cross, who are experts in motion graphics (they are listed as "title designers" in the credits). Originally working mainly on commercials, how did they pack the concept into a short length of just one minute and create a masterpiece title sequence that will play over and over in the audience's memories?

In fact, apparently the idea that was already commonly agreed upon at the very beginning was the technique used in the masterpiece " The Wild Bunch ."

"The Wild Bunch" trailer

The beginning of "The Wild Bunch" directed by Sam Peckinpah has a fairly long sequence that also serves as an introduction to the characters. In this section, at each impressive moment, the screen freezes with a texture reminiscent of a two-color print. The credits of the cast and staff are then inserted immediately. It is a simple composition that exudes a quiet awe. "I wonder if a similar technique could be used in ' Snatch'?" With this idea as the starting point, this film opens up a unique development.
