Dreamy inventions are attractive

Wiebo, seeing Philip depressed by Sarah's affections, gives up on her own love for his happiness. She secretly records the professor talking about his feelings for Sarah and shows it to Sarah, but Sarah is moved by Phillip, who speaks his heart when no one is around, and forgives him. succeeded in repairing the relationship between the two.

Eventually, Philip's invention (Flubber) is targeted by Hoenicker, a wealthy university investor, and his henchmen (named Smith and Wesson) vandalize Philip's house while he is away. Wiebo uses his wits to fight back, but in the end he is destroyed by a baseball bat and his flubber is taken away. Philip returns home and discovers the remains of Wiebo on the floor of the ransacked laboratory, but when he searches inside the computer using the last Arrival displayed on the monitor as a clue, he finds Wiebo's backup data and holograms. There was a Arrival left behind that was told through his appearance. Phillip hears Weebo's confession of love and learns that she not only saved his blueprint, but also modified it herself. With renewed determination, he sets out to get Flubber back. Head to the Hornicker residence with Sarah...

As usual, Philip and Sarah defeat the villains with a jumping fight using Flubber's elasticity, save the university with the funds obtained from their invention, and finally hold their fourth wedding. But once again, Philip was nowhere to be found at the church, and instead there was a new robot with a bright red body. Philip, who is working in his laboratory at home, is shown on the wide monitor of Wiebet, the "daughter" Wiebo left behind, and the bride and groom exchange vows through the monitor and become husband and wife. Phillip's wish to immerse himself in his research without hesitation and also hold a wedding has come true, but the person who made it come true is Weebet, who could also be called a reborn Weebo. In "Han Solo", it is revealed that L3-37, which was destroyed, had its brain incorporated into the computer of the spaceship Millennium Falcon, and was actually a living witness to later adventures, but Wiebo also She changes form again and continues to snuggle close to Philip and Sarah.

The robot takes over the story to the point where you almost forget about Flubber, but of course the green object is the driving force of the story. This development is possible because of its elasticity and kinetic energy. I think that dreamy inventions such as Flubber, robots, and flying cars (which are also powered by Flubber, but have a separate existence), and the characters of the inventors who created them, resonated with children. . With a mechanical house, underground laboratory, and robot helpers, it's sure to be fun. I liked the opening scene, where breakfast is prepared automatically (now that I think about it, it's similar to the beginning of Pee-wee's Adventures, partly due to the music by Danny Elfman). Even in the middle of the wedding ceremony at the end, Philip shows off his ability to be a very clumsy inventor, creating a huge explosion by mixing two different liquids, and it's great that he's so easy to understand.
