3rd place: "Fast and Furious EURO MISSION" (13) Director: Justin Lin 131 minutes

A fulfilling work that introduces the strongest enemy with a Cliffhanger at the end!

If the 4th to 6th films are part of the ``Letty's Absence'' trilogy, then ``EURO MISSION'' is the final one. Dominic and his friends learn that Letty, who was thought to be dead, is actually alive and is a member of a criminal group, so they travel to Europe to retrieve Letty, who has lost her memory.

In order to overcome the hurdles that were raised in the previous work, ``MEGA MAX,'' this work attempts to change direction from its previous mainstay, which was a crime action movie with car chases as its selling point. Although car chases are the main dish, it has turned into an all-around action blockbuster similar to the ``007'' and ``Mission: Impossible'' series.

Particularly enhanced is the fighting action, with Gina Carano, a mixed martial artist who starred in " Agent Mallory " (12), playing Hobbs' subordinate Riley, and a former Indonesian underling of enemy Owen Shaw (Luke Evans). We cast "real" people with outstanding physical abilities, such as Joe Taslim, a representative judo player who played the SWAT team leader in " The Raid " (11). At the same time, the regulars also began to take on the challenge of intense stunts, such as Michelle Rodriguez and Gina Carano's strangulation battle, and the overwhelming strength of Jah (Taslim), who even Han and Roman could not compete with. It's also nice that many of the characters, whether friend or foe, have their moments.

What's also wonderful is how the emotional elements and action are closely linked, such as Dominic's dive on the highway mentioned above and Giselle's desperate way of fighting because she trusts and loves Han.

And it was a heart-wrenching development for fans that Han's ``next time is going to Tokyo'' con that had been going on since ``MAX'' finally came to an end. As I wrote in "TOKYO DRIFT", Han died in a car crash near the scramble intersection in Shibuya (aside from the hand-wringing in "Jet Break"). In other words, ``MAX'', ``MEGA MAX'', and ``EURO MISSION'' are stories that chronologically precede ``TOKYO DRIFT'', and since Han really goes to Tokyo, it is clear that his fate of death awaits him. I am reminded of this.

After losing his beloved Gisele at the end of ``EURO MISSION,'' Han heads to Tokyo alone and dies in a crash. Moreover, the story ends with the shocking revelation that the person who caused the accident was actually Deckard Shaw (Statham), who holds a grudge against Team Toretto. It was one of the best Cliffhanger in the series, creating a number of high-calorie climaxes that would leave you feeling full over and over again, and then at the very end, making you scream, "Please show me the next part right away!"
