"007 Spectre" (15)

Director: Sam Mendes Starring: Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz, Léa Seydoux

It is said that the original Bond, played by Sean Connery, had his favorite suits made in Savile Row, the mecca of British men's clothing. It was designed by Anthony Sinclair, who actually has a store on Savile Row. Perhaps the most representative work is the gray three-piece suit worn by Bond in ` `007 Goldfinger '' (64).

Times have changed, and Tom Ford made his debut as Bond's costume designer in Quantum of Solace (2008). The slightly conscious suits, which combine the European taste cultivated by the long-established Italian brand Gucci with the traditional beauty of men's wear from the United States and the United Kingdom, stick to the body of Daniel Craig, who boasts the most muscular body in Bond history. A new Bond statue has been constructed through this.

`` 007 Spectre '' (15) is where Ford's skills as a designer who transcends nationality were fully demonstrated. The iconic pure white dinner suit (made of silk) with a red rose on the chest that was used in the poster, the navy windowpane suit worn in the action scene in Mexico, The fancy long coat made of silk and cashmere that she wore when she visited "M" after her rampage in Mexico, and the small checked three-piece suit that she wore when she visited "Q" at the end. Ford's style of creating clothes with an awareness of the situation works well as a form of direction, perhaps because he himself has experience as a movie director.

The same is true for ` `007 No Time to Die '' (21), the fourth and latest collaboration between Ford and the series. Standing in front of an Aston Martin that was used for promotional purposes this spring, Bond wears a Prince of Wales check suit, navy tie, silver tie pins and white chief. This is the pinnacle of spy dandyism. This would be the perfect way to send flowers to Craig Bond, who will be seeing him for the last time.
