Samuel L. Jackson's masterpiece! ?

What impression do you get when you hear the word “B-movie”? Some people don't want to watch it because it's cheap and stupid, while others love it! Some people say that. Thirty years ago, the majority of movie fans would have been the former. But when Quentin Tarantino began to openly admit that he was heavily influenced by B-movies, that ratio changed and its status improved a bit.

Samuel L. Jackson, a regular actor in Tarantino's films, is also known for his love of B-movies. In that sense, the 2006 panic action film ``Snakes on a Plane,'' in which he starred, is without a doubt his masterpiece. The original title is “Snakes on a Plane”. There is an anecdote that Jackson saw the title and readily agreed to appear in the film without even reading the script.

"Snakes on a Plane" preview

The story is very simple, like a B-movie. The setting is on a passenger plane heading from Hawaii to Los Angeles. In order to eliminate witnesses to the murder case on board the plane, the mafia resorted to a brutal trick by infiltrating a large number of poisonous snakes into the plane. Shortly after takeoff, a swarm of poisonous snakes swarms into the cabin, causing panic among the passengers. Instruments are destroyed, the captain is bitten and dies, and the threat of a crash accelerates the panic... This is the story.

Jackson plays an FBI agent who was on board the plane to escort a witness. This protagonist will face an incredible panic. Jackson is popular in the United States as a star who can deliver vulgar and crude lines in a cool manner, and in this film he says, ``I'm going to throw every single motherfuckin' snake out of this fucking (=motherfuckin') airplane!'' '' This scene was said to have been met with applause at theaters in the United States.
