Why Audrey decided to star

In the movie, Pete dies in an accident, but with the help of a messenger from heaven, Hap (Audrey), he returns to the earth as a spirit. His purpose is to guide a young pilot as his guardian spirit... Audrey, who appears here, plays the role of Lionel Barrymore, who was called "The General" in the previous movie.

Is she an angel? She's definitely a resident of heaven, but the movie doesn't go into detail about her character. "Nobody knows who I am, not even Steven Spielberg. I'm like a spirit. I'm not an alien. I'm just me in a sweater," Hepburn recalls.

She made her big screen debut with the Academy Award for Best Actress in the timeless classic " Roman Holiday Holiday" (1953). She went on to star in many classics such as " Sabrina " (1954), " Breakfast at Tiffany's 's" (1961), and " My Fair Lady " (1964), and her last starring role was in "A New Yorker" (1981). After that, Hepburn distanced herself from the film industry to fight world hunger as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. While she was busy fulfilling her role as a Goodwill Ambassador, there were constant calls for her to make a comeback from the film industry.

So, Hepburn returned to the big screen in "Always" after an eight-year hiatus, hoping to benefit UNICEF. Why did Hepburn decide to star in Always's film? She said, "There were two reasons why I decided to appear in it. One was that it was a Steven Spielberg film, and the other was that I was able to come to terms with the timing."

She accepted the role of Hap because she wanted to work with Steven Spielberg, but it was also out of curiosity as an actress. As a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, she probably thought that appearing in the film could be a catalyst for helping to alleviate world hunger. After all, Hepburn was paid about $1 million for Always, which she donated to UNICEF.

In the summer of 1992, Hepburn felt pain in her abdomen. It was colon cancer. She underwent surgery for colon cancer in November of the same year, but her condition was not good, and she passed away the following year on January 20, 1993. I wonder if she is now a guide in heaven, guiding the deceased to heaven. I can't help but feel that way every time I watch this movie.
