``The Falcon and the Winter Soldier'' ``This is the MCU'' orthodox new work is here!
A story that delves into two people who are stuck in their “past” and suffer.
The first episode of ``The Falcon and the Winter Soldier'' begins with Falcon ironing his suit, getting ready, and putting the shield inherited from Captain America into its case. It's a perfect opening for the birth of a new hero, but his expression remains stiff. And echoing in his mind is his own line when Cap entrusted him with the shield, ``It's like something borrowed.'' What is shown at this point is that Falcon has a feeling that ``I have not yet reached the level of successor.''
Afterwards, he flies to Tunisia on a mission and shows an amazing performance, but soon returns to the United States and donates the shield to the Smithsonian Institution. At that time, Falcon says, ``We need a new hero,'' and ``We need to look to the future,'' and says, ``This is yours (Captain America),'' hinting that he is ``de-Captain America.'' In a world without him, she can't be bound by illusions. It seems like they are proclaiming the dawn of a new era, but that's probably not the only intention. Falcon is not yet ready to shoulder the burden of being his successor.

James "Rhody" Rhodes/War Machine (Don Cheadle), who saw through his feelings, asked, ``Why didn't you take over?'' ``People are worried,'' ``Someone needs to fix this broken world.'' I ask, but Falcon's expression remains hard. ``I'm living with my parents now,'' he says, and retreats to his hometown. It's an issue that was hinted at in WandaVision , but the lack of a leader for the Avengers is portrayed more directly.
Meanwhile, it is revealed that the Winter Soldier also suffers from nightmares due to remorse for the crimes he committed in the past (when he was brainwashed) and is undergoing counseling. Now a civilian, he lives a quiet life, promising three rules: ``No illegal activities,'' ``No violence,'' and ``A break with the past.'' He was supposed to, but he was secretly hunting the remnants of Hydra. Looks like he's doing it. The counselor tells him, ``You have to open your heart. Trust the person who is trying to save you,'' and warns him not to ignore the email from Falcon. Although the details are not revealed in the first episode, it can be seen that Falcon is trying to make some kind of Contact.
The story will probably be driven by the two of them eventually meeting, but the first thing that is portrayed is their own struggles. How will The Falcon and the Winter Soldier overcome their sense of loss, burden, and regret and move on to the next stage as heroes? That seems to be the main theme of this work. And that's the same thing with "WandaVision." This series not only explores each character in depth, but it can also be said to be a "training arc" for the grown-up characters to unite as the new Avengers.
