``The Falcon and the Winter Soldier'' ``This is the MCU'' orthodox new work is here!
Action production that follows the “character” of past series
What ignites viewers' excitement in the first episode of ``The Falcon and the Winter Soldier'' is the powerful sky action that unfolds at the beginning. In order to rescue a soldier who has been kidnapped by a mysterious criminal organization called LAF, Falcon heads out on a flying plane to conduct reconnaissance and engages in a fierce battle. The high-speed aerial battle with a group of wingsuits, reminiscent of `` X-Mission '' (15), is eye-opening.
What is noteworthy here is that while the scale is outstanding, the battle scenes are realistic and practical, in keeping with previous Captain America series. The drone ``Red Wing'' uses a laser to cut a hole in the aircraft's fuselage, and when it jumps in, a fistfight with the enemy begins immediately. This combination of speed and weighty action is very reminiscent of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (14). The Winter Soldier's efficient action as an assassin in the subsequent scenes is also a good example of this. The design shows the differences in the fighting styles of the Falcon and the Winter Soldier, while maintaining the premise of a real fight. This film was directed by Kari Skoglund, who directed `` The Handmaid's Tale '' (2017-), and he very accurately extracted the ``smell'' of the series and incorporated it into the video.

What makes the viewers' hearts flutter is that it incorporates plenty of elements from old Hollywood-style action films. The pilot loses control of the plane as a result of a ricochet, the bad guy is mercilessly defeated (compared to previous MCU works, he kills the enemy quite clearly, and the situation is vividly depicted), and himself. The American production is noticeable, from the appearance of a mysterious Japanese character who uses the missiles chasing him to attack the enemy, to The Game"Battleship" that appears during a date (by the way, the end credits include The Japanese words for "partner" and "corruption" appear. You can also feel the essence of early " Die Hard ").
As a side note, I wonder if the knocking gesture shown by the counselor in the counseling scene refers to Non Official Cover. This theme was also depicted in Detective Conan , but the use of technical terms and slang also enhances the military action feel. Given that the MCU has clearly incorporated sitcom elements with WandaVision , these detailed presentations can be seen as a carefully prepared approach to create a ``●● style''.
The first episode of "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" has a good balance of action and drama, and is studded with mysteries that will lead to the future. And I'm sure there will be the customary "next" development in the final episode. ``WandaVision'' had a total of 9 episodes, but this work has a total of 6 episodes, so the density and sense of speed will also be different. I want to look forward to the encounter and chemical changes between the two heroes, while squirming at the "MCU-ness" that shines everywhere.
