The desire to "preserve the memory" that permeates the parody depictions

In "Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers," there are homages to " Jurassic Park " and " Star Wars ," and countless characters from all over the world and throughout history appear. Some of them are portrayed in a mischievous way, but the best part is that as you watch, you start to realize that it's not just fun and games.

For example, there are works such as " Wild Baby", a child version of the "Fast and Furious" series, "Mr. Doubtfire" (starring Meryl Streep), which is a sequel to "Mrs. Doubtfire ", and "Batman vs. ET". It's funny when you first see it, but it reflects the industry's concern that "it's just rehashing content that was a hit in the past". There is a dark depth to it that cannot be dismissed as a mere parody, in the sense that popular content is overworked until it wears out, and then tossed away the moment the numbers stop coming (including the agents/producers who suddenly contacted me for the first time in years as soon as they smelled Chip and Dale's resurgence).

I heard that the plot of " Toy Story 4 " (2019), in which toys seek independence from humans, has received a variety of reactions, both positive and negative. In this series, toys are "magically modified" in " Toy Story " (1995), toys that are happy to be loved by collectors in " Toy Story 2 " (1999), and toys that are abandoned by their owners in " Toy Story 3 " (2010). With exceptions, if we consider the relationship between toys and humans to be limited in time and not permanent, i.e. consumption, then there may be something in common with "Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers."

In this film, there is a scene where unsold and surplus character goods are remade into something else and "reused." Even though Sweet Pete's ideology is a criminal act, when you consider that his past is based on being "consumed and thrown away," it leaves an indescribably gloomy feeling.

There are many homages to characters from previous works that appear in "Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers." Perhaps this is because the creators, who have survived the ups and downs of show business, do not want to forget those who have lost their moment in the spotlight, or those who may one day fall into that category.
