July 2022 has become a rare horror movie month in recent years. Scott Derrickson, director of the Taiwanese horror movie `` The Sadness '' (21), which is full of violence and brutality, and `` Doctor Strange '' (2016), wanted to make the sequel ` `Black Phone '' (21). ), the A24 film `` X '' (22), which is full of love and respect for 70's horror, and the Netflix work `` Curse '' (22), which was feared as ``the scariest in Taiwanese history'' and became a hot topic in Japan. A wide variety of horrors assailed the viewers.

At the end of the film, the Thai-Korean co-production film ``The Medium'' (21) appeared as if it were going to be a real hit. The original idea and production is by Na Hong-jin, director of Gokseong (2016). It was originally conceived as a spin-off film depicting a prequel to the shaman Ilgwang who appears in the same film, but the setting was later changed significantly and became a fake documentary that follows the strange circumstances that befall a family of shamans in Thailand. .

As the setting was changed to Thailand, Bangjong Pisantanakoon, a talented Thai actor known for ``Spiritual Photographs'' (2004), was appointed as the director and scriptwriter. This work, which is a collaboration between two talented people from across the country, is a roller coaster-like horror entertainment that continues toward Inferno from the beginning of the movie to the end.

Worried about his daughter, Noi asks for help from his younger sister, Nimu, who has the power of a shaman. Noi thought that Min had been chosen by the goddess Bayan to be the successor of the shaman, and was possessed by that spirit. Determined to help Min, Noi begs Nim to perform the "replacement ritual." However, Nim refused the offer, saying, ``Bayan was not the one who possessed Min.'' So who exactly is controlling Min?
