“Raiders of the Lost Ark What is the essence of “Raiders” seen from the “Remake version of Raiders!” created by two boys?

Raiders remake filmed in a small house
In " Raiders! ", two boys, Chris and Eric, struggle to remake a movie that cost $20 million to make. The costumes and props are all handmade and extremely cheap, but their love for "Raiders" comes through on screen. And their passion for independent films is no different from Spielberg's passion for his movies.
Chris and Eric filmed mostly in their home. They recreated various sets from "Raiders" by hand. Sometimes, to recreate the action in a bar, they poured gasoline on the set and almost set it on fire... well, if you look at the shots, it's definitely a fire. What's more, Chris, who was also in the film, doused himself in gasoline and willingly set himself on fire. I'm surprised he didn't die.
They continued filming by gathering their friends during summer and winter holidays. Moreover, because they shot the scenes in order starting from the beginning of the movie (they thought that movies were shot in order from the beginning!), a rare phenomenon occurred in which the actors grew as the scenes progressed.
"Raiders!"
There are many scenes in "Raiders" that seem difficult to recreate, including the action scene in the cave at the beginning. In particular, the famous scene where they are chased by a giant stone ball is also "brilliantly" recreated. They made the stone ball out of a drum can, but were not satisfied with it, so they remade the ball a total of five times and did multiple takes.
Furthermore, for the climax of the car chase, they were 16 years old and got their driving licenses. They drove around the country roads in their neighborhood in a used truck and even attempted a famous stunt that paid homage to the movie Stagecoach . A life-risking stunt in which they crawled under the bottom of a moving truck and were dragged by a Rope. It was nerve-wracking to watch. Yes, the fact that they were amateurs created an unexpected effect of doubling the tension compared to the original!
