A “family” that heals their wounds and grows together, even though they rebel against each other.

In addition, this work is full of features typical of Anderson's work. The opening narration and the appearance of the Tenenbaum mansion are said to be influenced by Orson Welles' `` The Great Ambersons '' (1942), and Louis Malle's `` Onibi '' (1963) was influenced during the film. It has evolved elements extracted from the masters' masterpieces into its own unique characteristics, such as quoting lines from `` Les Enfants Terribles '' (50) and making use of the setting of ``Fearful Children'' (50) in the relationships between the children. This is also a point that cannot be overlooked.

On the other hand, as the film approaches its climax, Anderson's feelings about "family" become more prominent.

In the commentary for the DVD, he said, ``What I wanted to portray was the confusion felt within a family and how they heal their wounds together.Family is the closest thing to us.People grow up within that family. ) gives us something irreplaceable."

At the beginning of a new century in 2001, he cherished his family ties. The following movie, `` The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou '' (2004), weaves a similar all-star cast movie, but what is depicted there is a story of ``friends who continue on an adventure with the same aspirations'' that can no longer be contained within the framework of a family. ”

After that, they returned to the family in `` The Darjeeling Express '' (2007) and `` Fantastic Mr. Fox '' (2009), and later appeared in `` Moonrise Kingdom '' (12) and `` The Grand Budapest Hotel '' (14). `` Isle of Dogs '' (2018) and `` French Dispatch '' (21) depict bonds that go beyond family, and I recall the deep basso continuo surrounding ``comrades'' echoing deeply.

More than 20 years have passed since "The Royal Tenenbaums". As can be seen from the evolution of these works, it is clear that for Anderson, the existence of his friends is now as ``irreplaceable'' as his family.

I'm sure he will continue to maintain a comfortable atmosphere as he rows into the ocean of filmmaking with his friends. What kind of adventure will unfold there? Normally, a new work would be released every two or three years, but with two works ("Asteroid City" and "The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar") currently waiting, I can't wait for the curtain to rise. There isn't.
