My vision that perseveres

Looking back, with Aliens, Cameron seems to have clearly expressed what he wanted to do. Since then, as a hit maker, he has followed the same vision in ``Terminator 2: Judgment Day'' and ``Avatar,'' which he seems to have been able to make relatively freely. It is safe to say that it is the world.

At the time of filming ``Aliens'', Cameron was only 31 years old as it was only his second film as director (*excluding ``Flying Killer''). Despite this, it would take no ordinary will to reflect his vision so clearly and in such a major movie.

By the way, Syd Mead, famous for works such as Blade Runner , was involved in the design of the spaceship in this film, but the actual design of the spaceship was based on Cameron's own rough drafts. Syd Mead's beautiful design did not match Cameron's vision. Additionally, Alien creature designer H.R. Giger was never called on to work on Aliens. "I was afraid of losing visual control," Cameron later said. (Alien Queen was designed by Cameron and visual effects designer Stan Winston.) Cameron was adamant about expressing his vision, whether it was with a famous designer or not.

No matter how much time passes, science fiction works that continue to overwhelm viewers with their amazing quality, such as Stanley Kubrick in ` `2001: A Space Odyssey ,'' and Ridley Scott in `` Alien '' and ``Blade Runner,'' are a sure sign of who they are. It is directed by a director with a world of knowledge. James Cameron, who directed Aliens, also expressed his own world with a clear vision, creating a masterpiece that will go down in the history of science fiction movies.

``Aliens'' became an explosive hit around the world, even winning two Academy Awards (Best Sound Effects Editing and Best Special Effects). After this, Cameron quickly climbed the ladder to becoming a master.
