Roger Corman's appearance in an unexpected masterpiece

Filmmakers produced by the Corman group include Francis Ford Coppola, Dennis Hopper, Martin Scorsese, Jack Nicholson, Jonathan Demme, Ron Howard, Monte Hellman, Nicolas Roeg, Joe Dante, and John Sayles. , James Cameron, there are too many to list. What's interesting is that in later years, when they became famous directors, there were several cases in which they invited Roger Corman to their sets and appeared in front of the camera as a performer.

Indeed, Roger Corman is a good-looking man, and even though he has no acting training, he knows a lot about filmmaking. Corman himself probably wouldn't have felt bad since he would be appearing in a major movie, and since it was a formal offer, he would have been able to accept the payment.

In this way, Corman has made two Oscar-winning films, `` The The Father Part 2 '' and `` The Silence of the Lambs ,'' as well as appearing in ` `Apollo 13 '' and `` Scream 3. '' This can also be seen as an expression of gratitude and respect from the alumni to Corman.

For example, in ``The God The Father Part 2'' produced in 1974, he appears with lines as one of the members of the Senate committee that decides to arrest Michael Corleone (played by Al Pacino).

Coppola said that when casting the members of this committee, he deliberately wanted to use people who were not acting professionals. As a result, the scriptwriters, producers, and film directors with whom he had relationships were targeted. Needless to say, Koman, who was considered a master, was the first to receive an offer.

During filming, Jack Nicholson, a fellow Corman School alumnus who was working in the studio next door, came over to taunt me and said, ``Please don't mess with me! Your future in Hollywood is at stake!'' He seemed to be laughing and calling out to me. What a funny sight. I'm sure that in addition to ``The The Father,'' the bond between master and student is visible in every moment of every movie in which he appears as a cameo. If you have a chance, I highly recommend checking out these works.

Roger Corman is 91 years old this year. In 2017, he produced works such as `` Death Race 2050 '' and ``Cobra Gator'', showing that he is still active in his energetic activities. His existence will continue to be remembered with the admiration and respect befitting the name ``King.''
