A famous producer born together
The producer of this film is Jerry Bruckheimer, who is now a Hollywood producer who can silence crying children. At that time, Bruckheimer was teaming up with the late Don Simpson. After making the hit " Flashdance " (1984), which featured Irene Cara's famous song " Flashdance ...What a Feeling ," the next success they had was " Beverly Hills Cop." The two then went on to produce " Top Gun " (1986), solidifying their position in Hollywood.
In "Beverly Hills Cop ," they skillfully integrated songs such as " Axel F " and " The Heat Is On " into the film, just like in " Flashdance, " and made it a hit. Their work starts off strong, pumping up the adrenaline in the audience. In " Beverly Hills Cop," a powerful car chase unfolds from the first five minutes, with large trucks mowing down cars one after another. The technique of using action scenes and music to build up tension from the beginning and keep it up until the end has become mainstream in action movies today. " Bad Boys " (1995), which they also worked on, follows the same vein.
In fact, before the car chase begins, there is a scene where Axel senses danger and casually grabs onto the chain inside the truck, which is a clever touch by the director that makes us realize that he is an excellent detective.

Following this success, a trilogy was made, with director Tony Scott making " Beverly Hills Cop II " (1987) and director John Landis making " Beverly Hills Cop III " (1994). Action comedy trilogies are not uncommon these days, such as " Rush Hour " (1998), but they were unusual at the time.
